Archangel Raphael wants to celebrate your flaws today.
He wants to honour you for the ways you think you are imperfect, and also your efforts to work on yourself.
Not all of you seek to work on yourself. But Raphael advises each and every one of us to see if there are ways we might improve ourselves.
Of course this can mean a wide variety of aspects of ourselves, but Raphael wants us to focus on our health, self-image, and even beauty.
Why beauty, you might ask. Because it is a signal of our overall health. We are less likely to look beautiful, if we are unhealthy.
It’s not that you need to spend an inordinate amount of time and money on your physical appearance. But rather you need to pay attention to what things make you feel good, and even beautiful. Why should you not have more of these in your life?
In terms of your health, Raphael wants you to recognize the signs of health in yourself, and to carefully cultivate them.
Can you get more exercise? Can you choose to eat healthier foods?
What healthy choices are you making today and every day?
What about your self-image? Raphael asks you to respect yourself.
He finds that it is easier to take care of you, and to push you to a healthy life, if you have enough care for yourself to think that you are worthwhile.
Remember, you are made in God’s image. As a child of God, as a part of God, you would do well to honour yourself. Would you besmirch the Divine? Do not treat yourself badly, too. You are at least partly Divine.
Everywhere and everyday, Raphael is with you. He wants to help you. Ask him for help whenever you can.
